Fourth Form Team Building Day
On Sunday 9th September 130 new Fourth Formers came to school to take part in a Team Building Day run by Raleigh International.
Activities included raft-building, spider's web, water retrieval, mind games, and trebuchets. The final event was an “It's a Knock Out” style relay race that involved picking jelly beans out of flour with their teeth and hurdling over various obstacles.
It was an excellent opportunity for them to get to know each other, socialise with peers and staff, establish new friendships and, above all, have some fun.
Sincerest thanks should go to the volunteers from Raleigh, and to the excellent Sixth Formers who helped run the day. We couldn’t have done it without them.
