Cranleigh Pupil Wins Waverley Prize

William Stocks (IVth Form) recently won a £20 voucher prize and received a Youth Winner’s certificate for his participation in the national ‘I’m A Councillor, Get Me Out of Here!’ competition. The producer of the event, held in Local Democracy Week, Sophia Collins of Gallomanor Communications comments: “In the opinion of the moderators William was the best yound participant in the event in the Waverley area and is therefore our student winner for Waverley borough Council. William was enthusiastic, asked good questions and was a credit to Cranleigh School.”
