Cranleigh Prep School pupils are able to make considerable use of the sporting facilities 'across the road' at Cranleigh School (such as the TASC, the swimming pools and the astro-surfaces).

Unfortunately, however, the demand on these facilities often makes them of less value to the Prep School than they might be. This is particularly true of the astro- surfaces. An astro-surface can not only help to develop first-rate hockey and tennis skills but it can also provide an excellent playground facility at times when the grounds are too wet to play on.

The Foundation is keen to support projects at both Schools and the current top priority for Cranleigh Prep School is the construction of an astro-turf pitch of their own. It is hoped to build the pitch on the Middle Field if sufficient support is forthcoming from the Foundation.

The pictures on the right show the construction of the most recent astro-turf pitch installed at Cranleigh School in 2005.
