For DW paddlers & Wednesday Afternoon Activity Kayaking
Always take the following items, along with a towel and a complete change of clothes. Avoid cotton (T-shits, rugby shirts, hoodies, etc) at all costs!
Old trainers (that don’t mind getting wet & muddy) or wetsuit shoes.
Leggings – lycra or similar, with shorts over the top if you want. Trackie bottoms are OK, but NOT those made of cotton.
Base layer top - Hely Hansen or similar. Probably 2 of these.
Light fleece – for the first few outings you’ll not go far or fast. After a couple of weeks you’ll get too hot for this.
Waterproof jacket – on order for DW paddlers.
Hat – fleece or wool.
