Athletics is one of the main sports of the Summer term, with the boys’ and girls’ team squads training together regularly throughout the term, either on the School’s grass track, or on the tartan track at Broadbridge Heath. The teams compete regularly on Saturdays in inter-school meetings at various locations in the South East. 

 

Each year several pupils compete in the Waverley District Championships, and last year 25 athletes were selected to compete at the Surrey Schools Athletics Championships .

 

The inter-house sports competition, usually held just before Long Leave, provides plenty of first class performances from the most talented athletes, but there are also opportunities for widespread participation for pupils of all ages and levels.
