Sport

Senior boys and girls are able to choose cross-country as their main sports option in one or both of the two winter terms. Those that do, enjoy the beautiful countryside that provides ideal training facilities on the School’s doorstep.

Most of the inter-school fixtures take place in the Lent term, with a regular programme of Saturday and midweek meetings at various venues in the South East. Highlights of the season include the Knowle Run, and the Wellington and Ardingly Relays.
Each year a group of pupils represents Waverley district in the Surrey trials.

The inter-house cross-country competition, which takes place in the Lent term, involves a large number of boys and girls, of all ages, and in the Michaelmas term all Fourth Form pupils take part in the Fourth Form run.
