While being expected to take the lead in their own areas of expertise, be they academic, artistic or musical, Scholars play a full part in the life of the busy community that is Cranleigh.
Academic Scholars meet regularly as a group under the aegis of the Purvis Society (see below), and many members of Common Room, as well as outside speakers, contribute to this programme, which is designed to expand intellectual horizons beyond those defined or dictated by examination specifications.
Further details may be found at the V&P/Academic/Scholars pages on the website. Entry procedures for those seeking Awards may be found at V&P/13+ Admissions or V&P/16+ Admissions.
