Cranleigh School is a member of the NSEA and our riders regularly compete in all disciplines: dressage, show jumping, eventing and jumping with style. Since the inception of the NSEA National Schools’ Championships we have produced the National Novice Team Champions, the National Novice Individual Champion in 2005 and 2007 and the National Open Individual Champion in 2007 and 2008. In addition our team placings at all levels have made us one of the most successful schools at the National Schools Equestrian Association Finals in the last three years.
Each year we take part in the All England Schools’ Show Jumping at Hickstead, with our team being place seventh out of the 65 starters in 2010, and the British Schools’ Eventing Championships at Stonar where our riders are consistently placed in both team and individual competitions at all levels.
Cranleigh now hosts NSEA grass roots competitions that encourage the youngest riders, and those using riding school ponies, to experience the opportunity to compete in dressage, show jumping and hunter trials in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where the aim is for everyone to achieve success even if help is needed along the way!
