Winter Wonderland Ball

Cranleigh Foundation proudly presented its  very first Ball  on Sat 21st Nov at the School.  Guests were welcomed to a Champagne Reception  in Hall to the sound of seven harps before moving to the Winter Wonderland, more commonly known as Speech Hall, for  a delicious dinner, served by a team of 2009 leavers, followed by a lively auction with a variety of prizes ranging from a limited edition print by Nic Fiddian-Green to the chef's table at 'Murano' and taking over the Prep School as its Head for the day!  (This, not surprisingly, caused much hilarity - and  some very serious bidding.)  Such a frenzy of activity did not prevent those present from dancing with equal enthusiasm to the sound of the Fabulous Funkadelics with their guest air guitarist, which closed the evening in the fine style in which it began.

In the words of everyone there: “It was a tremendous evening”, which will have also raised a substantial sum to aid the Foundation in its various charitable aims.
