Hope and Homes Charity Walk - Sunday 22nd April

 
Congratulations to all 250 who participated in the Sponsored Charity Walk on Sunday 22nd April for Hope and Homes for Children. Thank you for your involvement, whether walking - some or all of the 20 miles - running or a combination of the two! We enjoyed ideal weather and some of Surrey’s finest countryside, along with a super atmosphere.
 
In some ways the next stage can be harder – collecting in all the promised sponsorship money. May I encourage you to persevere with this over the next two weeks in order to help raise a really good figure? Our hope is to hit the £25,000 mark, which would be a tremendous total. Here are some pointers to collecting in your sponsorship money:
 
  1. All cheques you are given should be made out to ‘Cranleigh School’. A final, combined cheque will then be sent off to Hope and Homes for Children.
  2. If the donor is taxed, then please ensure that their full home address (including post code) appears on the Sponsorship Form, along with a tick in the far right hand column so that the amount can be gift aided and Hope and Homes for Children can reclaim the tax.
  3. Send in both your cheque and Sponsorship Form to me, the Revd PV Parker, at Cranleigh School, Cranleigh GU6 8QQ or hand it in at the School Accounts Office. Please mark all envelopes ‘Charity Walk’.
