The Thursday before Long Leave saw staff, parents, family and friends enjoy an evening viewing of GCSE and UVIth Pre-U art and GCSE, AS and A2 design. The variety of work in the Emms Centre show of GCSE art made for a stunning display, while the ambition displayed by the artists at Pre-U art was appreciated by all who saw it.
The projects on show in Design were memorable for their ingenuity and inventiveness. The hours of work to finish the pieces, and make the displays as professional as possible all seemed worthwhile. The Design exhibition and Pre-U Art Show stays up until Speech Day , when a selection of GCSE art will also be shown.
