The LVth Artists travelled to London on Tuesday to investigate artists work under their new theme of ‘Heads and Hands’. The National Portrait Gallery and the Courtauld Gallery was their destination. Both the diverse range of portraits and exceptional quality of artwork on display at both galleries made for a brilliantly stimulating day. All the pupils worked diligently, making sustained drawings and notes at first hand.
