Riding takes place for the majority of pupils during Activity Time and lessons are arranged for both pony owners and non-pony owners for which there is an additional charge per term that will be added to the fee invoice:

Non-pony owners: £150.00 for one lesson per week
Pony owners: £200.00 for two lessons per week

This covers a minimum of 10 lessons in the Michaelmas Term and nine or eight in the Lent and Summer Terms.

Additional private lessons can be arranged with the Director of Riding or Fran Colombo and will be charged separately.

In addition, specialist clinics are arranged with visiting instructors on a regular basis for dressage, show jumping and jumping with style (JAS): all riders can sign up for clinics that are at an appropriate level for their standard and there is an extra charge for these (usually £20 per clinic).

The Riding School is open at weekends and during the school holidays (both for Cranleigh School pupils and outside clients looking for riding lessons) and arrangements can be made to ride during these times, too. Regular Pony Mornings are organised through the Sports Centre’s Multi-Activity Programme and take place throughout the holidays: details can be obtained by ringing 01483 542125.
