Vivian Cox Theatre

The result of a successful Cranleigh School Appeal in 1990, and built in close consultation with Vivian Cox (an Old Cranleighan), the Vivian Cox Theatre was opened in 1991 by Sir John Mills CBE. An impressive artistic space, comfortably seating c.100, it is ideal for intimate Music and Drama occasions or conference and lecture events. Key features include:

  • Studio Theatre with a horseshoe seating configuration for approximately 100 people
  • Light-coloured, varnished plank floor
  • Comprehensive lighting rig
  • Sound system with CD and mini-disc players
  • Data projector with screen
  • Good access to dressing rooms and ‘Green Room’ facilities
