This weekend the top nine women’s teams in the country completed their second round of four matches to decide the Women’s Premier Indoor2016 Womens Prem Hockey League and there were no less than four Cranleigh girls playing. Charlotte Calnan and Izzy Petter played for Surbiton whilst Olivia Camsey and Emily Thorpe appeared for East Grinstead.

Playing alongside the current GB captain, Kate Richardson-Walsh and many other current GB internationals, our girls performed extremely well on the highest club stage indoors.

In addition, Zoe Burrell, a relatively recent captain of hockey at Cranleigh, and now teaching at the Prep School, was also representing East Grinstead who have qualified for the Finals day on Sunday 31st at Wembley.

Well done to all of them for acquitting themselves so well.
