As part of a joint Biology and RS initiative, the Fourth Form enjoyed a day out in London this week, visiting the London Central Mosque and London Zoo. The tour and talk around the Mosque was very interesting and Peter, their guide, encouraged the students not to be afraid to ask the tricky questions! We all learnt a great deal and a big thanks goes to the Mosque for their warm welcome and hospitality.
At the Zoo, students were tasked with researching endangered species and preparing for a debate on the role of zoos in conservation work. They had a lot of fun gathering information, with the butterfly house, penguins, tigers and the anaconda being firm favourites. Thanks go to all the staff and students for making it such a successful trip.
