On Sunday 26th November we were blessed with yet another glorious day for our second pursuit race to St Catherine’s lock and back from the Wey Club in Guildford. With official times under their belts from the last race, everyone was looking to improve and move up the starting order. Having previously done so well, all of our boats were now more tangled up in the main pack and it was going to be difficult to make significant gains, despite the new shiny glow-in-the-dark caps the whole team were sporting.

Nonetheless all crews, and Miss Baily together her DW partner, managed to significantly shave their times, with several boats being several minutes faster. As ever, there was a great turn out of enthusiastic family supporters and Old Cranleighans on the water. We even had some former School parents in a K2.

Well done on a really inspiring effort from everyone taking part. A great way to spend a beautiful day outdoors.
