Four students travelled to the London Oratory School Model United Nations conference to debate as representatives of Iran.

All delegates participated with enthusiasm and maturity, enjoying the opportunity to debate with peers and tackle issues of global importance. Topics were as far-ranging as the death penalty, workers’ rights, ISIS ‘sleeper cells’ and the privatisation of space.

The General Assembly presented the delegates with an involving crisis in the Arctic Circle, expecting them to deal with a complex political situation in a rational and diplomatic way.

Congratulations to all delegates on their fruitful debate; bring on the next conference!
