Congratulations to Will B. who went up against the best athletes from each of the 46 counties in England, coming overall second, at the English Schools Cross Country Championships on Saturday 16th March, which means he has won his first England vest. After his silver he’ll run for England next Saturday in Dublin.

Run entirely by volunteer teachers, the English Schools Cross Country Championships is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the winter for young athletes. Entry to the event is only possible with athletes being selected by County Team Managers, where they have the opportunity to represent their county at the event.

This follows a successful season for Will, who is currently the U15 UK Cross Country gold medallist, as well as holding silver in the England Cross Country competition and bronze in the UK Schools Games.
