Over the Easter break several Cranleigh pupils have been involved in playing representative rugby.

Hayden Hyde was selected for Ireland U19 and Will Trenholm for England U18 and U17. Will was joined in the U17 squad by Oscar Beard and Finn Brown. This meant that Cranleigh was the  school with the most representatives in the squad. In addition Josh Tusler represented Harlequins U16 in their week long camp.

At the end of the Easter term, the U18 Sevens got to the semi-final stage of the National Rosslyn Park Sevens Tournament. This means that over the course of the last five years, the 1st XV has won the bowl, the cup in 2016 and 2017, were runners up in 2018 and most recently 2019 semi-finalists.

Very recent leavers have also achieved some wonderful success on the rugby pitch. Jamie Barden represented England sevens in Hong Kong and Singapore. Jack Johnson played for England Students vs France and both Hugh Tizard and Harry Barlow played for England U19 against Wales.
