With an Exeat weekend we still managed a full week of sport practices, as well as success from our joint senior and prep riding team.

Phase 2 has been planned with pupils deciding on their choices. This phase will start next week and take us up to half term, which is followed by Phase 3.

This approach has enabled us to give the pupils the best sporting experience under the ‘new normal’ regulations.

On offer will be sports such as: climbing, HiiT, yoga, riding, boys’ rugby, girls’ hockey, badminton, Fives, cross country, golf and swimming. On top of this, we will also have a Variety Friday Sport Programme where pupils in different age groups can try out a new sport for the first time.

The girls will continue the Phase 2 sports into Phase 3. Boys’ sports will change when we enter Phase 3. This is in response to the recent RFU news regarding rugby fixtures being postponed until January 2021.

The riders continued their winning streak this weekend with a win for the Intermediate Show Jumping team and the Dressage team at an NSEA National Qualifier. This included Lucy Le M, Megan T, Tara M and Maisie Z.

There were also individual qualifications for Tara M. who won the Intermediate Show Jumping at her first attempt at this height. Maisie Z. was 3rd in the Open Show Jumping and 2nd in the Prelim Dressage, with Lucy Le M. placing 3rd in the Novice Dressage. Once again a wonderful performance from the group.
