Although our athletes in the junior under-18 England squads have not been able to do any on-pitch training during this latest lockdown, they have been following their England fitness training programmes as well as weekly zoom meetings covering a range of topics.

Ben Gaze, Siena Keijsers, Pippi Spawforth and Eliza Wheeler have also been watching and analysing current England and GB tactics and systems that include Old Cranleighans Will Calnan, James Gall and Izzy Petter.

At the older, higher level of the Great Britain Elite Development Programme (GBEDP) that sits just under the centrally-contracted International programme, Olly Witts has been attending both on-pitch and off-pitch training sessions for the past four months. He’s one of just five athletes selected whilst still at school across the country.
