Monday saw the bottom courts alive again with activity this time with the U11 IAPS Regional Qualifier.

Sixteen teams travelled from across the South to play in what turned out to be a very competitive tournament. With a new format and some slightly different rules from previous years everyone was excited to get back onto court and try out ‘Bee Netball’.

The morning saw the teams compete in four pools before heading to the knockout stages. Bee Netball allows 5 players on the court at any one time and also incorporates a rotation of positions at each half time and full time break. The adaptability and versatility of the U11’s was really admirable, their basic skills and knowledge of positions was very impressive and credit to their coaching staff. The afternoon accumulated in finals in both Cup and Plate competitions, the final standings of those matches are listed below.

Finally a huge thanks to the dedicated staff members and coaches that brought the teams along, as well as umpires. Lastly, a well done to the girls themselves for working so hard throughout the day and putting out some fantastic netball. We look forward to seeing everyone back next year!

Final Standings
