On Friday 8th October, Cranleigh Music celebrated the return of live public music-making with a wonderful concert featuring soloists and ensembles from both Cranleigh Prep and Senior Schools.

The Brass Ensemble’s fanfare heralded an exciting programme of younger solo performers, before the Prep School Chamber Choir entranced the audience with an exceptional polished performance, showcasing their pure sound and great attention to the details of performance presentation. Some of our more experienced soloists then gave beautifully controlled performances that held the large audience rapt, before the Cranleigh School Choir rounded things off in style with the anthem Come Down, O Love Divine.

The magical atmosphere of the Chapel provided a suitable backdrop for this concert, which highlighted the musical progression through the two schools, but above all allowed us to gather once more to celebrate the talents and hard-work of our musical pupils.
