To mark UNESCO’s World Philosophy Day, pupils enjoyed spending time in each subject debating open questions and learning to think about how they would approach the answers.

The belief that the teaching of every subject can be enriched by putting the emphasis on teaching pupils to think is a core part of our approach to the curriculum – Cranleigh Thinking.Cranleigh Thinking Vision

Cranleigh Thinking is based on four key principles: teaching through questioning, learning through thinking, dialogue not monologue and teaching to think, not teaching to the test.
