Nineteen students and four staff will be leaving for Zambia this week. This will be the first time in three years that Cranleigh has been able to visit our partner, Beyond Ourselves, and Kawama Community School.

The team is both nervous and excited in equal measure! The trip, led by Mrs Amanda Reader, will enjoy a packed programme that will help the students engage with Zambian life and issues surrounding economics, poverty and development. You can follow the trip on Instagram @beyond_cranleigh.

The team has done an amazing job at fundraising, raising a total of nearly £18,000 for Beyond Ourselves! Notable achievements include Elliot E.’s 24 hour percussion marathon and Piers A.’s 13 hours of golf.

Well done to the whole team for their commitment and enthusiasm for fundraising. They will now have a first hand experience to see how that money will be spent in Zambia.
