The Chamber Choir were in fine voice at the Leith Hill Musical Festival this weekend. Singing in the 13 Years and Under category, they performed ‘Vois sur ton chemin’ from the French film ‘Les Choristes’ and a rousing arrangement of the spiritual ‘Ezekiel’s Wheel’.

It was a fabulous event, with a good range of schools involved: Other schools taking part in the festival that day were St Theresa’s Prep School, Surrey Hills Primary School, Cumnor House Girls’ School (Purley), West Byfleet Junior School, Sandcross Primary School, Crawley Catholic Schools Choir and Reigate Grammar School.

The adjudicator praised the choral blend of our Chamber Choir, in addition to the range of dynamics and the choir’s exceptionally clear words.

Cranleigh Prep were awarded first place, ahead of runners up Pennthorpe School, who stylishly choreographed their musical theatre songs. A really inspiring day!
