The visit by Cranleigh Prep School pupils to Pangbourne Piano Festival was a great success. Lily H won her class with the Chopin C sharp minor Nocturne, primarily with her poeticism and musicality.
Hannah S, Leah S and Anna H all played beautifully with great character and aplomb.
The adjudication was given by Luis Pares and Pamela Chilvers, both AB music examiners and the former a renowned concert pianist.
It was a family-oriented day out with professional advice and was much enjoyed by all.
