On Wednesday afternoons during the Summer Term 12 Upper School pupils are now undertaking an introduction to sailing at Papercourt Sailing Club where they enjoy fantastic facilities on a 45 acre lake in Ripley.
The club has a wide range of sailing boats on offer, including the largest inland Optimist fleet in the UK. Having been introduced to the basics of an Optimist and Topper boat, our CPS pupils are now working towards single handed sailing on the water and hope to develop to course racing.
Pupils are really looking forward to being on the water again next week!
