CPS hosted a friendly U8 & U9’s gala against Hurst at home yesterday putting out a large CPS team 28 swimmers vying to improve their personal best times.
CPS won by a 10 point lead with the lowest score wining – CPS 85 v Hurst 95.
It was an exciting and happy time of speedy 25m events and supported by proud parents from both schools.
A special mention must be made to U8’s team:- Bella L-D and Lockie H both winning their 25m individual Backstroke events comfortably, Aggie M and Max G taking 1st in their Individual 25m Freestyle events.
There was a show of strong talent coming up through the ranks with the U9 Medley Relay Teams within a hare’s breath finish taking 1st and 2nd places.
Lastly well done to Teddy V’s divine win in his U9’s individual Freestyle event.
Many congratulations to all the team as everyone added to the overall success of this gala.
