The Cranleigh Prep U11 girls football team enjoyed a fabulous afternoon at the IAPS regional qualifiers, hosted by Bede’s on a sunny October afternoon last Friday.
The playing record of three wins and two draws left us second in the group and level on points with a strong Hoe Bridge team, courtesy of goal difference, but enough to send us on to the Nationals Finals.
All girls gave a great account of themselves, working so hard for the team, and the achievement was all the more impressive in light of us fielding seven debutants.
