Studio Tour in London for a day of wizardry, special effects and fun.<\/p>\n<p>As we pulled up in the mini-bus, we were greeted by our own Tour Guide, who spirited us through security and into the magic auditorium.&nbsp; We then started our walking tour, which took us behind-the-scenes to a huge array of beautiful sets, costumes and props. We also learnt about the special effects and animatronics which made these films so hugely popular all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>Our lunch was provided in Harry Potter lunch boxes in our own private dining room.&nbsp; Here we were joined by a guide who had worked on the actual films!&nbsp; He told us lots of secrets about what really went on when the cameras stopped rolling.&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-36016\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cranprep.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_4104-250x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\"><\/p>\n<p>We then continued our tour, along the famous cobbles of Diagon Alley, where Tega tried to \u2018high five\u2019 a Death Eater (with limited success).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Highlights were undoubtedly being in the Great Hall, catching the train on Platform 9 \u00be, exploring Dumbledore\u2019s office, seeing Hagrid\u2019s motorcycle and having lunch with the Death Eaters!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-36017\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cranprep.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_4110-250x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\">Rebecca, who went on the trip, said, \u201cI loved everything, but I particularly enjoyed looking around the train.&nbsp; It was pretty cool seeing the models for the creatives and going into the Forbidden Forest.&nbsp; My favourite part overall was when we saw the wands, even Harry\u2019s!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>What a fantastic start to the Michaelmas Half Term.
