Technology trip to the Institute of Engineering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> April, during the Easter holidays, six budding Design and Technologists ventured to London to the Institute of Engineering and Technology for EngFest 2019, accompanied by Khan Brewer, Head of Design.<\/p>\n\n<p>The day was packed with activities, exhibitions and lectures.&nbsp; Max McMurdo discussed his life as a Designer, Upcycler and television celebrity whilst the CEO of Bloodhound informed the delegates of the developments of the Bloodhound SSC project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Concluding the lectures Max Scott-Slade introduced us to the life of a computer game designer.<\/p>\n\n<p>Workshops and exhibitions were a great place to try out new and developing technologies and learn more about the things that will shape our world in the future.<\/p>\n\n<p>Overall it was a fun and stimulating experience;
