{"id":40251,"date":"2019-11-26T16:53:45","date_gmt":"2019-11-26T16:53:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cranprep.org\/?p=40251"},"modified":"2019-11-26T16:53:45","modified_gmt":"2019-11-26T16:53:45","slug":"victory-for-our-swimmers-v-windlesham-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cranleigh.org\/prep\/2019\/11\/26\/victory-for-our-swimmers-v-windlesham-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Victory for our swimmers v Windlesham House"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CPS definitely had a touch of pool envy after spending a wonderful afternoon in a state of the art swim\/sports complex at Windlesham House yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The gala format started with the Individual Medley (100m) event where all club swimmers stood out of the crowd, showing off their endurance and technique.<\/p>\n<p>The CPS U13 teams felt the pressure in their individual races.&nbsp; However, they held on despite the fierce competition. &nbsp;The U12 teams secured many more 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> places in both the individual and relay events, with a more even spread of wins to both schools throughout the U11 &amp; U10 events.<\/p>\n<p>CPS A Team &#8211; 1st &#8211; 119 points<\/p>\n<p>WH A Team &#8211; 2nd &#8211; 106 points<\/p>\n<p>CPS B Team &#8211; 3rd &#8211; 74 points<\/p>\n<p>WH B Team &#8211; 4th-&nbsp; 49 points<\/p>\n<p>Overall \u2013 CPS won the gala, with 193 v 155 points.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Waller, team coach, says &#8220;A special mention to Jamie T as it is good to have our boys&#8217; captain back swimming again.
