{"id":40530,"date":"2020-02-05T16:28:23","date_gmt":"2020-02-05T16:28:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cranprep.org\/?p=40530"},"modified":"2020-02-05T16:28:23","modified_gmt":"2020-02-05T16:28:23","slug":"form-2-trip-to-fishbourne-roman-palace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cranleigh.org\/prep\/2020\/02\/05\/form-2-trip-to-fishbourne-roman-palace\/","title":{"rendered":"Form 2 trip to Fishbourne Roman Palace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Form 2 enjoyed a trip to Fishbourne Roman Palace yesterday as part of their Humanities topic &#8216;The Romans&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The children took part in a number of different activities including; studying the Roman remains of the mosaics where the palace used to stand and looking at the other treasures that had been found on the site, in the museum.<\/p>\n<p>To top the day off they attended an interactive workshop, where they role played being in a Roman kitchen, wrote using the Roman alphabet and made mosaics, amongst other things.
