{"id":44845,"date":"2022-11-21T10:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cranprep.org\/?p=44845"},"modified":"2022-11-21T10:30:00","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T10:30:00","slug":"visit-to-pitch-hill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cranleigh.org\/prep\/2022\/11\/21\/visit-to-pitch-hill\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit To Pitch Hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Form 6 pupils following the Humanities programme visited Pitch Hill to complete the fieldwork component of their Geography assessment on 3<sup>rd<\/sup> November.<\/p>\n<p>The weather forecast for the day was extremely unfavourable, but being well-informed and prepared geographers, we donned the appropriate wet-weather attire and managed to complete all the fieldwork studies under drizzly leaden skies.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils successfully completed a number of practical investigations of footpath erosion which complemented the geomorphology unit of study that the pupils have been following this term.
