Form 2 visited Fishbourne Palace, near Chichester, to explore how the rich and famous lived during the Roman era in Britain. They learnt about life in the largest Roman palace ever found in Northern Europe and were amazed by the famous \u2018Cupid riding a Dolphin\u2019 mosaic, which contains 375,000 tesserae!<\/p>\n
In the workshops everyone had the opportunity to try mosaic making, writing on wax tablets in Latin, playing Roman games, spinning wool, cooking in the kitchen, building Roman arches and even dressing as Romans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
