Our U12 Rugby 7’s squad have had a rousing introduction to the game this term with two festivals, the first held at Aldro and most recently, at Danes Hill.<\/p>\n
The team faced a total of eight different schools over the course of both days, amassing a total of 53 tries and conceding only 12, which was an amazing achievement for this group of boys who learned the skills and tactics of the game as they progressed through the festivals.<\/p>\n
More importantly, the experience taught the boys about teamwork, digging deep when they were tired, and respecting the opposition and referee. At Danes Hill, they remained unbeaten and Wilbur H was nominated by the tournament organisers as Cranleigh\u2019s representative for the All Star Team of the Day.<\/p>\n
