For many Cranleighans, Sixth Form is the highlight of their time with us. Life is very different to that in Senior School. Naturally, there is far greater freedom and independence, but there is also more responsibility and personal accountability. We treat our Sixth Formers as adults, and the relationships with staff are more akin to mentorship.
Everyone at Cranleigh is part of something special, in the boarding house, with our paired houses, in sports teams, classes and societies. There are always events to watch and everyone loves cheering on friends in our house competitions.
Butts is our Sixth Form social space, perfect for movie nights, catch-ups and the occasional party. This fosters a sense of community which transcends our eight boarding houses and gives students a place to call their own. We expect a lot from our Sixth Formers so Butts is a place to take a break from whole-school responsibilities and just be together with friends.
