Andy Carson

Mr Andrew Carson is a Teacher of Learning Support at Cranleigh School, giving individual/small group support to a number of pupils.

Mr Carson grew up and went to school in Bath, and after an early career with the Ministry of Defence as a Naval Architect, he retrained as a teacher of CDT and Maths. Initially teaching in Trowbridge, he moved to Wellington School in Somerset, where he taught a number of subjects, but primarily Design Technology and Maths. Most of his 30+ years have been as a housemaster (day and boarding) but he also enjoyed coaching sport, primarily hockey, and was often seen on various trips.

The majority of his free time he spends with his family but he also enjoys watching sport and still likes to fit in the occasional game of cricket or a round of golf.
