Brian Browne

Mr Brian Browne teaches Mathematics and is a long-serving tutor in Cubitt. He studied Mathematics at Loughborough University and then went on to do his PGCE at Exeter. Born in Kitwe, Zambia, to Irish parents, he grew up in the Copperbelt and spent most of his childhood outdoors under the African sun. From a young age, he flew back to Belfast regularly to attend boarding school at Campbell College, close to his family roots.

After school, in the early days of becoming a teacher, Mr Browne used the holidays to travel extensively around the world in pursuit of wildlife and adventure, but now family life takes precidence. He joined the Cranleigh School maths department in 2002 and has been a tutor in Cubitt since then. He enjoys all sports and currently coaches rugby, football and athletics.
