Charlie Boddington

Mr Charlie Boddington is the Assistant Head (Co-curricular) at Cranleigh School. He has senior leadership responsibility for all strategic and operational aspects of the schools co-curricular programme, including all sport, music, drama and outdoor education. Mr Boddington also has responsibility for day to day scheduling and the termly calendar arrangements as well as being the Educational Visits Co-ordinator.

Mr Boddington has worked at Cranleigh since 1998 and previously held the roles of Senior Housemaster and Housemaster of Cubitt, Head of Economics and Business Studies department and has co-authored a variety of Business and Economics revision guides. He continues to coach the full range of rugby, hockey and cricket sides from A to D teams. Mr Boddington completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 2015 and prior to teaching at Cranleigh completed a PGCE at University of London and a BA in Economics at Durham University. His family are very much immersed in Cranleigh life living on site and with their four children being educated at the Prep and Senior School.
