Christie Constable

Mrs Christie Constable teaches History and Politics and joined Cranleigh School in September 2018. After graduating from St. Andrews University, she completed a PGCE at Lancaster University and then taught at Oakham School in Rutland where she was a resident tutor.

Throughout her time at Cranleigh, Christie has been part of the CPD Committee, leading TeachMeets and Mutual Observation Weeks. She also supports colleagues who are currently working towards their PGCE and ECT qualifications, and runs regular CPD for colleagues who are new to teaching.

In her role as Director of Professional Learning, she is very excited to lead more whole-school teaching and learning events and to create a culture in which all teachers feel supported and inspired to continually innovate and improve.
