Resident Deputy Housemistress

Ms Gemma Bukowska teaches Biology and is the Resident Deputy Housemistress of West. She graduated from the University of Leeds with an MSc in Human Disease and Therapy, having first studied microbiology at undergraduate level and went on to complete her PGCE with the University of Buckingham in 2014.

Ms Bukowska joined Cranleigh in 2012 as a biology teacher. She has held a number of posts over the years including Joint Head of EPQ and Deputy Head of PSHE. In 2016 she took up the post of Resident Deputy Housemistress, alongside her role as a tutor. She coaches hockey and netball, and also helps to train and assess groups for the Duke of Edinburgh award at Bronze and Silver level.
