Mr Juan Fernando Martín Albalat is Teacher of Spanish at Cranleigh School. He studied a BA in English Literature and a MA in Translation in Madrid, Spain. After working as a translator, he found that education moved him more than any other thing, so he studied a PGCE. Driven by his love and passion for English culture, he decided to move to the UK to work as Spanish Language Assistant at King’s College School, Wimbledon, in 2019 and Charterhouse School, in 2020. After three years, he decided to become a full-time teacher.
Outside of work, he has an endless list of hobbies: board games, playing guitar and bass, listening to music, watching films and TV series, cooking, meeting new people, reading classics, sci-fi and fantasy books, going on hikes and exploring new places, among others.
