Pete Bradnock

Pete Bradnock has been teaching for over 22 years, working
in both single sex and co-educational settings. He has spent 19 of those years
providing pastoral care for boys, giving him an excellent understanding of
teenagers and how to bring out the best in them as they develop into young men.
He sees his position as leader of East House to be a huge privilege, caring for
and guiding boys as they develop into the fine young men East House consistently
produces. Prior to his career at Cranleigh he was Head of English at St John’s
College, New Zealand, and spent eight years at the Royal Grammar School
Guildford where he was Deputy Head of Sixth Form. At Cranleigh he was Deputy Housemaster
of Cubitt for two and a half years before taking on the position of Housemaster
of East where he has been since January 2019.

Pete Bradnock is married to Rachael (an OC herself, Cubitt
92-94), and has two children, Claudia and Joshua. He is a keen skateboarder, surfer
and swimmer and used to be a surf lifesaving instructor. As a committed (former!)
rower, he also stroked the boat for his eight at Henley Royal Regatta.
