Sam Arnold (LVI, East) has been selected for Ireland U18 Rugby to play against England at the end of March. Sam becomes the second current Cranleighan to be selected for the match, with Charlie Piper already selected for the England side. Both boys are U17 still and have another year at the School. Sam is involved with the Harlequins Elite Academy and joins an every growing list of international players from the School.
Andrew Houston, Director of rugby, comments that “this is such great news. Sam and Charlie have been superb this season and have worked tirelessly at their game. I am so very proud and it will be a proud moment to see both running out against each other in Dublin. Obviously I will be neutral, but it is a great achievement for the School to have two boys playing in such a prestigious game.”
