The RS and Biology departments joined forces on Wednesday this week and took all the Fourth Formers on a cross-curricular trip to London Zoo and the London Central Mosque in Regents Park. The weather was perfect and both pupils and staff had a very enjoyable and productive day. The comments from our pupils say it all:

‘We all loved the Mosque and we learnt so much.’

‘I really enjoyed myself and I especially loved all the animals at the zoo! I know that everyone had a lot of fun!’

‘It was great fun, interesting and useful to see what we were learning about in real life! We all learnt lots of new things of which will benefit us all greatly in our exams or justOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA in our general knowledge.’

They will be following up the trip with a Science vs Religion debate in week 7 where pupils will debate the motion ‘Science has proved God _1550213doesn’t exist.’ A controversial topic that will no doubt generate some great discussion!
