The extraordinary, diverse and wonderful artefacts of the British Museum made it a natural destination for our GCSE Artist to begin the         investigation of their exam theme ‘Past, Present and/or Future’, even though we took the equivalent group there last year. Cranleighians enjoyed drawing and sketching from the wide range of objects, from sculpture and ceramics to painting. Two exhibitions in the print room of Francis Towne’s watercolours of Rome and David Oxtoby’s prints of Rock and Pop idols were especially appealing.
