Krystle Flack

Prior to Cranleigh I led a boarding house at a school for students with challenging behaviour and special educational needs.

I joined Cranleigh School in April 2013 and 10 years later my role has developed significantly.

Working in the learning support department is an incredible privilege. Each and every day is different and provides such wonderful opportunities to get to the heart of the academic support we offer here at Cranleigh. I have forged some brilliant working relationships with departments and also work closely with admissions and prep schools on ensuring all teachers are aware of a student’s individual needs before they arrive at Cranleigh.

I became Head of Learning Support in September 2021 and continue to enjoy this wonderful challenge. I have spent the past 2 years growing the department, whilst always ensuring that the students are at the heart of all the work I do. I am passionate about supporting our students on their academic and pastoral journeys as they develop their independence.

I have also held positions as Assistant Deputy Housemistress and Joint Head of Lower School PSHEE and am also Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead,  Designated Teacher and a Tutor.
